This just started happening after the latest server update today, I can even see in my tautulli history where watching the same file before and after the update had one direct play and the other direct stream. Forcing a direct stream might not sound like an issue but a lot of times video gets distorted and I have to restart a few times to get it to play correctly. Any ideas?
When I enable the playback information overlay all it says is “Application disabled direct play. App cannot direct play this item. Direct play is disabled.” It is copying both the 1080p HEVC video and the AC3 5.1 audio. I have “Allow Direct Play” enabled in settings.
