@Dark_Stranger You have to buy a LG Smart TV first than. You have to open LG Store Account. Than you can search XPLAY on the store. Than you can install to your TV. Than you can run xplay app. Login with your plex account. That’s it.
Ha, I already have the LG TV, and an LG Store account, but when searching unable to find XPlay, so guessed it was installed via USB as an unauthorised app, hence my question here. I guess the app is region specific then.
I will try changing the LG Store region to see if the app shows up outside of the UK store.

Just I searched in LG Turkey Store and XPlay is there. Try to search xplay instead of browsing (if you browse).
Hi, i got an LG oled tv and realy love the app, However i don’t think i can buy it from the lg store. (i am from Belgium), to buy it online i need the userId ? where do i find this id ? is this the id from the account i use to sign in the lg tv ?

Check https://xplay.itkey.ru/. You can find the ID in the settings screen.

Is the latest version of Plex Media Server (1.4.3.3433) compatible with the current version of xplay?
New version of Plex Media Server (1.4.4.3495) tested with Xplay 1.2.8 and WebOs 2.0.
Everything is ok.

plex media server 1.2.3.2914
xplay on webos2 20160519.1.1.5
i don’t want to update either the plex media server nor the xplay version as my server is’nt capable of transcoding media while i use the external subtitles.

I don’t know about WebOS 2.0 but my latest XPlay and PMS plays all external subtitles without transcoding on WebOS 3.0.

Check if you are still logged in with your LG account on your TV. It caused issues like this with other applications.

How much buffer size has Xplay?
And, Is it possible add a option to increase buffer size in configuration menu?

I believe this is all handled by the internal movie player of LG. XPlay basically just tells the internal player to play the file/stream.

I don’t think it because Xplay player it’s different to LG player.
Visually it looks different yes, but bublikoff has mentioned many times XPlay uses the internal player and just passes the file and some controls. This is also most likely why it performs so much better then the original Plex app.

my lg store doesn’t offer the xplay app. So I downloaded the usp zip file from the opening post. I extractet it to a usb stick an plugged it in my LG TV. But how can I start the app??? On my TV i can access the usb stick and navigate through all directorys of the stick. But what now? Is there a startup file, like an .exe for windows?
My TV: LG 47LM669S firmware: 04.62.12

Quand je navigue dans le menu, pour avoir la page suivante, je suis obligé de suivre le fléchage en mauve.
Car quand je suis complétement à droite, la page suivante ne s’affiche pas.

When I navigate the menu, to have the next page, I am obliged to follow the arrow in mauve.
For when I am completely to the right, the following page is not displayed.
Is it possible to make an evolution in order to be able to go to the following pages directly following the red arrow?

I have found a bug in ver. 20170326.1.2.8 (Hotfix) with Plex 1.5.1.3520.
My user has PIN code. I click to my user, then click immediately to the Enter button and viola. I’m in without I would know the PIN code.
