One more try to use system functionality to show external subs … Ive published 20170428.1.2.8. Could you please test if it works or not with this version?
I do have some statistic about platforms
webOS 3.5 - few users with this version
webOS 3.3 - the most popular version
webOS 3.1 - few users with this version
webOS 3 - few users with this version … Is anyone here?)))
webOS 2.2 - the second popular version
webOS 2.1 - some amount of users dont want to update apply updates?))
webOS 1.4 - not so much but still be used by some users
webOS 1.3 - hm … 1…2…3…4…5 … some users))
webOS 1.2 - Few users … the first of the Mohicans)))))
OK, downgraded my Plex Server installation from 1.5.5.3634 to older version 1.3.4.3285 on the raspberry pi3 but no luck - secondary (english) audio track still no playable… de- and reinstalled Xplay on WebOS 1.4 TV… no luck.
Reinstalled Plex 1.5.5.3634 because it does not seem to be server related.
Damn, it was working fine some days ago… normally if I change the audio track the tv show image backdrop is appearing for a short moment and then the video plays… now I only get a grey background and the rotating circle. Funny enough, in the official Plex app changing audio tracks works…
So it seems to be related to the Xplay app? Don´t knwo what´s going on, but it´s annoying.
Are two accounts supported? I am sharing my server with my roomate’s account and it would be nice if we could easly swap accounts in the TV instead of logging in and out every time.
Hi bublikoff, I have a question.
My brother and I have XPlay installed on different TVs on the same network. When we reproduce some video on the server, Plex only recognizes one user, not two. Is this an issue, something from the server or from XPlay?
webOS 3 - few users with this version … Is anyone here?)))
me
Two questions:
How can I get rid of the pin code from the difference?
Please tell me what is the deal with Direct Play, should I let it checked or unchecked, what is the difference?

PS
For the moment Ive published version with sides aspect detection … differ from TV screen sides aspect
You will probably see black bars now =)
Hi @bublikoff
Im having those horizontal black bars problem in my version. Webos 3.0. How do I revert to previous version? Is there a way to set xplay not to automatically apply update?
Thanks
I’m on a LG OLED65CSV and WebOS 3.3.1-719 (dreadlocks-deua). Now internal subtitles will not be displayed properly any longer! When aspect ratio is about 2.35:1 then subs are cut by the black bar at the bottom! When aspect ratio is about 1.85:1 and there are no bars, then there is no problem!
As far as I know, there wasn’t any Xplay updates for a while, so this might be LG’s firmware? Anyway, I can’t seem to solve the problem. I’m running latest Plex server.

That’s right. But the problem is not the lg firmware. Xplay is updating in ‘background’. You have the last xplay (28april2017). And on the last update ‘bublikoff’ had make some changes that he announced here. Anyway, it was much better before. I don’t like were the subs are showed, on the top of the black bars.

Thanks for this! I was wondering too why I get no update via LG store but things seem to have changed with xplay… if the app updates in the background that makes sense! So i´d also like the “old” version back. I´m having troubles changing audio tracks…
