I couldn’t get it to work, I’d click on my user enter my pin and just spin forever. The I tried my main user (which I only use on my server for administration), that logged it into the server now all my other users work and I am using it right now. Can you share access to this user that have problem with XPlay? I’ll check what it can be.
As Im not a PMS developer I can not predict all variants of PMS behavior and to fix issue I need more tech details.

My last resort is to buy an AppleTV to use Plex this way, but I would rather use XPlay after reading all the feedback over the years. I really hope you can help me, you’re my only hope!
Its better to use version from LG Apps store … USB version is outdated and does not work with new PMS version 1.3 and upper

Have you tried for eg to play it using PMS web client?
Also if it helps, the one movie where subtitles are working have only one audio (DTS), one subtitle (PGS) and one SRT (this one works).
On the non working movies, there’s at least 2 audios (TRUEHD and AC3, because TRUEHD doesn’t seem to work with the E6), I will try with another movie with only 1 DTS to see if the subtitles work, maybe it’s related…
I’ll add option to change behavior in next major version. Next major version will actually have much more options to change the app’s behavior
Im unsing xplay now for a few days and I love it. If possible I would like to have the screensaver which shows the fanarts of my library. Thank you very much for this awesome app.

Even did not think about screensaver this way … I’ll think about using media arts in screensaver …
I just bought another LG TV, I haven’t signed into my lg store yet as I forget my password and my pc is down at the moment.
So I downloaded a play and signed in using my Plex pass. Will that be all I need to do to keep it from the trial version or do I’m need to read download from my content store?
First of all, thanks for an awesome job!! I bought the full version a couple of days ago because the official app transcodes unnecessary videos and you seem to be way more active with development. Keep up the good work!
But my problem is this: yesterday I noticed that Xplay handles subtitles incorrect if you have several different subtitles downloaded for the same video. Even though Xplay recognizes that there are several subs, and you can choose them all, they don’t seem to play correctly(The video displayed french text instead of the chosen english for example) .
If I play the same video with the official Plex app, the subtitles are correctly shown.

Has this regressed in the latest version? Can no longer switch audio on 4K files without it being transcoded.
Version number is 20170202.1.2.8
An example is the Planet Earth II series in 4K which encodes with Russian as the default audio language. In a previous version of XPlay you could change the audio to English (the second encoded audio language) without transcoding.
This no longer seems to be possible in the current version?

Your version is old. 02.02.2017. You have to force the update.

Drop your problem here and maybe we can help. I really hope @bublikoff will have time to work and further improve XPlay (although it’s already pretty good), because he seems very busy. Hopefully he will open-source it if he won’t keep working on it. We need XPlay!

I also have a problem… often happens that the audio track selected (italian in my case) starts in english, I then switch to english (the first, with T transcode symbol) and then turn back to italian again, that need to be transcoded even if it’s shown without the red T symbol…
