xTeVe Guide Not updating

Hey, need some help.

Ive loaded xTeVe correctly, I can watch the channels I want. However everytime I look at the program guide on plex it will show a different channel all together.

I’ve removed, the setup on plex and reloaded it. Same issue, I also completely redid xTeVe and it didn’t change anything. I looked through the xlm of xTeVe and it is correct.

I had loaded up a test run before which is what plex is showing but when it grabs the xlm details and loads up the feed its my updated list. I tested it off of the m3u via VLC and it works fine and gives me the correct channel names etc. ONLY in plex does it show the wrong channels.

Any advice would be great.

Summary of what I’ve done:

Updated the XMLTV
Updated the Mapping
Started fresh on xTeVe
Started fresh on Plex via removing DVR settings
Complete removed xTeVe & all directories

In the Plex DVR setup, have you correctly matched the channels?

Yes.

Ended up finding the issue. Xteve even when deleting the cache or resetting with in the web connection was keeping previous xlm information.

I had to complete delete the “.xteve” folder and force it to do the configuration settings via web connection. Been working great now.

Now I wish plex would have a proper tv guide on the ps4.

Hey so I am having the same issues you were having. I have cleared the cache/remove DVR and also removed the /root/.xteve folder from the server and reconfigured however my issue persists.

Can you tell me exactly what you did to fix this please?

I ended up having to delete the entire directory of “.xteve”. Went through the setup wizard again and it ended up working. Little annoying having to do that each time IPTV adds channels I want but oh well.

Make sure to delete the current DVR and start from scratch there too.

I did that and right away it didn’t change anything but after some time it worked.

Your right in that adding more channels will be a pain when you’ve got to revert, reconfigure and add back to Plex.

I have also I now have multiple greyed out live DVR areas on my mobile Plex app after messing and adding the dvr each time I was trying to fix this. I can’t seem to find out how to remove these either which is a pain.

Have you removed the old DVRs from the plex server each time?

Server might need a reboot if you have. Didn’t come across that myself.

Yeah completely removed and rebooted… think it’s an iOS app issue as the server looks good from the web client.

@GroupMaster yeah I’ve done something similar and it’s all working atm. Just a shame there is a Chanel limit.
