LiveTV not loading guide from xml (xteve)

running the latest 64bit version of Plex and it lost my tuners. I have tried to rebuild the tuners and it adds them back in fine but i am using two xml files. one from Schedules direct for my HD Homerun tuners and one proxied from schedules direct via xteve for my iptv channels. I have checked the xml file generated by xteve and it does contain the channel and program data. the weird thing is when the xteve tuner is added to plex it finds and matches all the channels to the xml file but LiveTV doesnt show any channel logos or program data. It jst seems to look like its trying to load all the time.
Can anyone let me know where i have to look to delete the cached info for livetv? I seem to recall there is a bundle you can delete and then edit the db to remove tuners??
Really need to get this fixed asap

Cheers

I always end up deleting the dvr’s restart plex and adding them back in. Plex DVR seems to be stuck in beta mode for years. I doubt anyone puts any effort into making this paid option work.

yeah I’ve deleted and recreated including restarts but its still not working properly. I think I need to go into SQL database and delete the tuner instances and then delete the tuner bundle in plex but I cannot remember for the life of me where the bundles are kept or where the cache is stored for the live tv

If you use the “Delete DVR” in the Live TV & DVR settings along with deleting the 3 tv.epg.plex* files in the database directory, and check the database to be sure to clear out the media_provider_resources table in com.plexapp.plugins.library.db. Your system should be free of all references.

I’ve found starting xteve on a different port helps to clear it properly. Also, look up threadfin on github, this is a forked version of xteve that has had many more updates.

doesnt help unfortunately as on windows I’ve found the databases folder and there are 15 files that start tv.plex.*

With Plex stopped, delete any that start with tv.plex.providers.* . You probably have extras from using the epg at first before switching to xml. It’s also an indication that the db file is corrupt and not rebuilding properly. Since removing and refreshing will rebuild the files there is no issue with deleting them, provided Plex is stopped.

And do I need to delete the entries from the dB itself?

I would only do that if cleaning up the epg doesn’t work.

So all files that start with that regardless of file type?

Yes, delete anything that starts with tv.plex.providers.*.
