If someone makes a claim, he must be able to prove it. It is also not a rocket science to analyze a binary to see if there really has been “stolen” code.
Setting up multiple M3U files has always been supported by xTeVe.
With the new XMLTV function is much that was not before, even duplicate channels are then supported. xTeVe will not be able to look into the streams to see if they are available. You have to switch over in the Plex Client
That should already work. Do I have to test it, I also have a real tuner there.

hey all those with it working - how long are your channels taking to load and stream smooth?
Mine take up to 5-7 seconds, then sputters for another second before it smooths out, it makes for channel flipping kind of tedious.
Is anyone having a better experience or is it just Plex limitation? If better experience what hardware specs and transcode settings are you on?

I have the same. But on Kodi everything is ok. So Plex is only for on journey, in home have Kodi, with plex kodi connect.
I’ve figured my issue with Plex duplicating episodes and ignoring the xmltv data. It seems like Plex requires the 'xmltv_ns’ episode system to be in use when scraping so that it can differentiate each of the episodes.
3 seconds then I have a steady stream
I have managed to find a line with 2 streams (so I can have 2 tuners)
I have set xTeVe to 2 tuners removed it from plex and re added, as well as restarted both but only one tuner is still showing
Did you restart Plex?
Yeah restarted plex it must be saving a setting somewhere but not sure where
If you start xTeVe, is there the right number of tuners?

Where is this set?
Plex remembers the tuners using the DeviceID. This changes if you change the number of tuners in xTeVe, because the number of tuners is considered only in the initial setup of in Plex DVR (TunerCount).
The discover.json looks right.
Where Plex stores the data I do not know. Have you set up other tuners besides xteve in Plex?
No I have only setup xteve maybe I can change the IP used for xteve to force plex to see it as a new tuner?

At the IP address it is not, Plex remembers the DeviceID.
Delete xTeVe in Plex and restart the whole computer.
I did this and still the same is there a way to change the device ID?
The DeviceID changes when you change the number of tuners.
