Iris has a lot of sky stuff. You can see a list of the channels on their website

Nevon, you probably just need to restart plex. that’s what i did and it came right up.

mshoward82,

i have had that same issue with particular streams that were not sending me stream data very well. like they were overloaded, so if you have a poor connection to your stream provider or the stream provider is overloaded then that happens.

thank you i do not mean to put down the software, on the contrary it is genius and a revelation.

i checked today and the software is crashed. ip / port are unreachable

i just tried fire fox, previous safari. still hangs. loading 22k m3u is fast no hanging ever.

there must be small bug. is it possible to filter before loading m3u or load in parts?

after reinstall same bug

What exactly did you do at reinstall? xTeve deleted and re-downloaded?

Everything was working great. Logged in to check something and now xTeVe is throwing me this error after the update.
I have restarted Plex and xTeVe.

Anyone knows how to setup epg for Belgium and Netherlands? Now I have to choose or Belgium or Nl but I have both channels.

What’s in the console when the error comes?

Switch xTeVe EPG source to XEPG, then you can specify multiple XMLTV files.

found bug is related to http grab of large m3us.

locally loaded file works ok.

also for me, xmltv file loaded xteve works with plex.

if i load same file as xepg plex says no channels detected and show 12:00 am clock

yes remove and reinstall

What I don’t understand is why we have to select the m3u link in the xteve setup with different country channels and in Plex DVR setup we can only choose 1 country.

Plex DVR is designed to only be expecting channels from one country at a time if using the built-in Plex EPG.

You can get round this by using an xmltv file to provide your EPG data

To use xmltv data from multiple countries you have a couple of choices

  • Either you use an xmltv file supplied by your iptv service which may contain all countries
  • Create your own xmltv file adding channels from whichever countries you need
  • Download individual xmltv files for each country and use xTeVe’s XPEG feature to combine them ready for use in Plex

can we run 2 instances of Xteve ??

eg 1 m3u for english channels and another iptv service to record a second instance ie another m3u for sports?

or would we be able to incorporate multiple m3u iptv services in future?

I believe you can already add multiple IPTV services

Loving the ability to set the additional categories (News, Movie, Series, Sports)
Means that I can now use the ‘enhanced guide’ feature in Plex to pull in better detail without it incorrectly matching some programmes to movies (eg The Simpsons episodes always showed as the movie - setting the channel as ‘Series’ means it no longer does )

However, I now have another issue
When xTeVe rebuilds the xmltv file to create ‘xteve.xml’, It is changing the titles of programmes if they have special characters in them

For example, the first one I found was this one

In the original xml file it shows

<title lang="en">Kirstie's Fill Your House for Free</title>

In the file created by xTeVe it shows

<title lang="en">Kirstie&amp;amp;#39;s Fill Your House for Free</title>

Meaning in Plex I am seeing

Kirstie&amp;#39;s Fill Your House for Free
