The update this weekend to solve my problem that the DVR is offline… didnt help. I tried to restart PMS but no luck… now I can se xteve in upnp app… but… still offline.
Yes, Plex only allows one EPG source.
Did you restart Plex?
Start xTeVe as a normal user directly from the command prompt. Then it stays open if an error occurs. I have to see what’s there, so I know what’s not working.

Delete xTeVe from the Plex DVR settings, delete the settings.json from xTeVe, restart Plex and set up xTeVe manually via the IP address:port

- my only issue is some episodes 1/10 approx fail to record… ie click record and they do not show up in future recordings nor do they record when time comes…
any ideas? is this epg error, plex error or xteve issue?
suggestion:
can xepg group same name episodes (give unique id?)and organize better as i have set as Shows category but they go to different folders and recording all shows of Title X not working great
Also would help record all episodes and prevent recording duplicates
i have qnap. use qnap forum version 1.0.2 then stop and restart

For what reason do you want a different location? xteve.xml is a temporary file, so it will be saved in the tmp folder.
If you have access to your server with SSH, then you can also set up xTeVe there.

I have a Plex installation in a docker image on a server at Bytesized. I can run the binary through SSH but have no access to /tmp

Is it possible to adjust the quality that we look in plex via a TV channel or in Xteve
Not sure what you mean…
Do you mean to adjust the quality of the actual stream playing - I think this is not possible
Or do you mean to get Plex to show that it is a HD or SD stream - this is possible… just add ‘HD’ to the end of the channel name in xTeVe mapping and Plex will show it as HD.
