Hi I know that this might be the wrong channel… but I have recently got a problem with my PMS centOS.
I cant record anymore… it says that it doesnt have permission… when I change channel it always say something like… error recording… Im using xteve on the same server and this problem has come last… week… or weeks… running beta channel on PMS.
Thanks for any trix.
Thanks for your quick reply.
My goal migrate my 32 bits debian to 64 bits, huggh.
i have my jeedom domotics on it .
I have multiple iptv channels that do not play in the Plex live guide using XTEVE. But these channels all play fine through any other IPTV plug-in. And they TS streams. Any thoughts?
By the way, it seems like the only channels that give me a playback error are
NFL Red Zone, all NFL game plan channels, and weather channel.
All these channels that Plex won’t play do actually work in the cctv IPTV plug-in for plex. Must be a setting in XTeVe
Any ideas?
I’m running PMS on a QNAP as a native app. I installed xTeVe from the QNAP club, it is version 1.1.0 which I believe is the latest.
The problem is that when I go to add it as a tuner, xTeVe momentarily shows as an available tuner, but then disappears. I can manually add the address, but ti doesn’t seem to find the xTeVe tuner. The funny thing is, that even though it can’t see the tuner, it does show the correct channels from the .m3u file on the next screen. If I add the channels and go through to the guide it shows the channels, but cannot tune them. Going back to the DVR settings it shows the xTeVe tuner as added, but unable to connect with it.
As a test I ran up an instance of xTeVe on a windows machine and it performed the same way as the internal QNAP version. The Tuner would momentarily show up, then disappear.
So any ideas on why the PMS on QNAP loses track of the tuner ?
Thanks
I don’t have any questions or concerns, just wanted to let the dev know that I LOVE this little app! Works fantastic! Keep up the great work! Do you take donations?
Do you have another tuner in Plex?
Yes I do, a HDHomerun.
Switch it off for the setup of xTeVe
Is their any way to trick the system xteve so that I can make sevral DVR instance in Plex to the same xteve server? Exampel: If I need to have different channel-mapping for different channels from different countrys.
First off - Great app! (i tried tvheadend and tvhProxy before i found this)
But i have a feature request
A way to short the channels in the mapping section, that would be great!
Hi, how do i use this with xtream editor? When i try to add my m3u line it says that it need to be .m3u but my xtream editor does not provide that any clue how to fix this?
do you have the newest xteve version installed? works for me with the xtream editor link without issues.
I absolutely love the app. I run it on a qnap server alongside the plex server. everything works perfectly apart from maybe once a week my mappings will completely wipe themselves and revert back to the default enabled channels. I have taken a backup of the config files but it makes no difference when I restore the files all the mappings are still defaulted to the origional mappings. Is there something I’m doing wrong or do the config files not hold info about the mappings?
Thanks
Tony
Plus 1 here. I have same issue.
Fantastic work. Any update on when this will support IPTV which uses a username / password?
Also, does this support Xtreamservers?
Already supports username and password. Use the link your provider gives you
no one who has any trick?
Same for me… I have now had to recreate the mappings 4 times - not funny given I have 150+ channels!
Look into the xTeVe log, if there is nothing, why the mapping has been lost, your provider has changed the channel names in the M3U.
For every update of the M3U, xTeVe must map the channels to the mapping and update the Streamin URL. If your provider uses unique IDs for the streams, xTeVe uses them to find the channel in the mapping. If there are no IDs, the channel name is used. If this changes, the mapping is lost.
You will have the problem with any IPTV app where you can add channels to favorites.
M3U example with unique ID’s (CUID):
#EXTINF:0 CUID="3011" tvg-name="2_zdf.de" tvg-id="2_zdf.de" arc-time="72" catchup="shift" catchup-days="3" tvg-logo="http://logo_chanel/ZDF HD.png" group-title="DE",ZDF HD
