Can I sort the channel list in some easy way?

With my provider i can only have 1 tuner for 1 account, can I have many account and set many tuner ? (multiple session of xteve ?)

I have used PMS as epg carrier. I tried xepg but my list loses their mappings all the timeā€¦ I use the epg from my iptv sourceā€¦ but no luckā€¦ what do I do wrong?

Hi @marmei, decided to get back on this now that Plex made some changes to make the Live TV function better. Got it more or less setup but I have some questions:

  1. whatā€™s the best way to get this running as a service on linux? I tried creating systemctl .service file and it fails to startā€¦ any advice?

error when I do a systemctl status xteve.service:
ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/xteve/xteve_local -port=ā€œ7070ā€ (code=exited, status=203/EXEC)

  1. has anyone figured out a good alternative logo/graphic/ source to Gracenote, Iā€™m talking about full experience much in the way Gracenote provides (graphics for tvshows, movies, news channels, sports as well as logos for channel), but not fond of their limited EPG options.

  2. Iā€™ve got a channel that errors out in plex, but works in other iptv clients (ex. GSE). Could I send you sample for troubleshooting?

Welcome back.

  1. There is a Linux script (systemd) in the Discord channel. you do not have to specify the port, xTeVe remembers the port.

  2. I use Schedules Direct, but there are other providers as well. Do you also find in the Discord channel.

  3. Plex does not play every streaming format, unfortunately I can not change that. By now I use Emby

No, the auto mapping only works if the tvg-id (M3U) matches the channel ID (XMLTV).

Are you saying that Schedules Direct provides EPG but also with full show, tv and movie graphics in live tv like Gracenotes, (not just channel logos)?

I donā€™t seem to read much on their site about logos and graphicsā€¦ it seems to be only EPG scheduling data which I think iā€™ve taken care of using WebGrab++

They now also use GraceNote (if running beta) data and itā€™s similar to Plex in that it has logos, posters, actors. Basically everything you need. Itā€™s much better than using Zap2XML or WebGrab++ (I was using them both). Nice clean and fast image servers. I wouldnā€™t consider Schedule Direct at this point as there is nothing to gain from it except extra $.

Hey thanks! I read Emby supports multiple EPGs too so this is the plus! Will report back on my findings as things progress.

Costs $ 25 a year and you need another program, which creates an XMLTV file from the data of Schedueles Direct.
On my server, everything runs automatically every night and I always have the EPG data for the next 14 days.

xTeVe now also supports several XMLTV files.

Everything worked until now. The channels were copying themselves. Now it is not done. The worst thing is that when Xteve works well, after the XTEve refreshes the EPG stops working.

Can you look at my settings. PRV.

Are you totally at Emby?
