xTeVe - IPTV for Plex DVR

That’s up there, too.

Missed that first time around.

How can you control custom channel ordering? Via the CUID?

Did you read Post #99?

Hi i have received my beta key and i am having difficulty mapping the channels in Plex. I can see the tuner and 401 channels, but during the mapping process i am only able to assign channels which are ‘freeview’ is it possible to add all UK providers?

I am using windows 10 with WinTV-quadHD for my DVR.

Many Thanks

Can someone explain me how to run this .dms file on debian? Is it an archive?

You can use the filter function, If your list is divided into groups (group-title), you enter this into the filter. If in the channel name e.g. GB stands, you can take that too. Just try. xTeVe shows you in the current version of what is being filtered.

It’s a finished binary, you have to start it in the terminal. Safari always depends on .dms, no idea why. Use another browser or remove the extension.

You need to chose the sky epg rather than freeview, you’ll then have most channels in there.

Hi James thanks for the reply but im not getting the option for sky in Plex.

On the dvr set up page i can see all of the channels, country (uk) and under the channel count it says cable. If i select continue, the mapping is only for freeview

You can select that in the DVR initial setup.

Any chance of a key please?

is it possible to generate m3u lists with local files only? Thinking a bit on providing some kind of pyseudoTV channel with my own local files to be played on a certain time schedule. That would be a cool feature/addition.

I would like to request a key as well.

xTeVe does not generate m3u files, it processes existing m3u files and provides this information to Plex. In m3u files there are URLs to streaming servers. If you still have a streaming server and still provide an XMLTV file for Plex, that should work.
Write to me privately if you want to have a key

I have an issue… I can get xTeVe to download my remote m3u file but Plex just gives the ‘unable to tune channel’ error.

I have looked into the downloaded m3u file and it seems as thought the formatting may be the issue…
(I have tried remote and manually downloaded m3u files)

If I open it in wordpad the formatting is all correct, with spacing as it should be

However opening it in notepad removes all the spacing…

The red shows where there is no space between the group title and the http link - this channel will not play… on attempting to play, the xteve.exe window shows no attempt to even do anything.

The green is where I have manually placed a space - saving the file and trying this channel will allow the channel to play fine.

Any Ideas on what I could try - it will work fine If I manually edit the file to put the spaces in but it will take a very long time and as soon as it updates I would need to do it again!

Hi Marmei, i am unable to see this option for mapping it to a sky guide. when i am in the mapping page the top left shows ‘Freeview’ and there is no option to change this to sky.

Cheers
Ricky

Hi, I would like to help with the beta testing if you could send a key my way

Hi, I would also like to help with the beta testing, please, please send a key.
Regards Johan

First feedback: How can I change system folder location?

Send me a screenshot of the console after pressing Play in Plex.
The problem with the lines is notepad, Notebad is not a good editor. Take another.
I can already see what kind of provider it is that lists work from there.
If it’s TS streams, it has to work.
