It may be delayed by a few weeks, the first people are testing the beta since today. Some features are not implemented yet.
I know there is such a feature, but I have not seen a list supporting it. Currently the first valid URL is used.

I have a similar setup in plex. 2x HDHomerun using ālocal over the airā guide from plex. This maps channels 1 to 799 for OTA channels. Plex doesnāt allow me to add in channels from the āxTeVe tunerā and map those channels as they are not available within the guide. Seems its one or the other unless thereās a way of getting xTeVe to merge the ālocal over the airā guide from plex with the XML from xTeVe?
Thatās the disadvantage of Plex. With Emby you can use several EPG sources.
You can also set up your HDHR tuner in xTeVe, but then you need an XMLTV file with all EPG data for your tuners
Iām looking at some way of merging XMLtv files so that I can use an external XML file to provide the full guide for both my physical tuners and xTeVe. If all else fails Iām going to have to bodge it using SkyHD guide and manually map all channels.

I have been using xteve for a couple of weeks and am overall very satisfied, thanks so much for this lovely program! I do have an issue related to reliably quite often though:
I am experiencing Issues with short internet connection drops on my windows machine. When running ping tests at the same time as the issue occur to 8.8.8.8 I can see that I get a 1-2 second timeout and then the stream dies with this error message in the logs:
[xTeVe] [ERROR] read tcp MY LOCAL IP -> EXTERNAL IP : wsarecv: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. - Connection to streaming source was interrupted
I wonder if the new m3u8 feature will maybe make the stream more resistant to these short drop outs? I have compared ts and m3u8 streams with my provider in GSE for iOS and the buffer size seems to be way better with m3u8, hopefully xteve can take advantage of this!
Maybe someone have experienced the same issue?

Question, if I order a pay service for the m3u channels, can I just get 1 stream from them, and then stream to multiple tvās through plex?

Iām using the latest xTeVe (1.4.4) and latest Plex Media Server. Most of the channels (including FHD) are working fine except some channel with multiple audio stream will not start. I have a stream which contains my native language but is the 6th audio language from the stream. My settings in Plex will automatically play my native language audio if detected. So the stream starts and the 6th audio stream is selected, i see 1 image of the stream and it hangs. It just wonāt play.
This is the only thing different from the other streams i can think of. The other stream plays the first audio track or only have 1 audio track.
Can someone reproduse this too? Is this a problem with xTeVe of Plex? The channel with all those language audio tracks works fine in VLC, Kodi etc.
Hi warham, Iām having the exact same issue as you and canāt seem to find a fix. Do you remember how you fixed getting xteve to not disappear so you could add to plexdvr?
I have an issue where some HD or FHD IPTV Channels are not playing in widescreen via Plex/xTeVe on a nVidia Shield - I have noticed that if i transcode them down to 720 or 480 it then fills the screen correctly but you lose picture quality due to transcoding down to 720 or 480.
I cant seem to find any settings in either Plex or xTeVe regarding this so was wondering if you had any ideas?

I use Plex and xTeVe with my EPG guide pointing at the IPTV provider but have a strange issue where every program listed in the Live TV guide reporting as NEW, its not a problem just strange, any ideas why?
Works great until I add āNetherlandā as a filter. Then it stops working. But only with Netherland as a filter. If I take it out it works again.
Anybody have the same problem?

Ok, I thought was making good progressā¦got my m3u playlist imported, shows streams in the playlist tabā¦imported my xmldv , shows availability and channelsā¦but when I open the filter menu and the mapping menu there and no channels there to do anything withā¦
