The only option that I can see it to change it to a different existing library if thatās what you mean ? I donāt know of an option to change it to a different folder.
I am pretty sure I tried to a different library but I cant be 100%
Hello, I was wondering how this links into my existing Plex server so I can use the Plex App on my Roku to watch the m3u?

The easiest way to get an M3U to play on Roku is to just use āWeb Video Casterā.
Load the M3U into the mobile app. Cast it to the Roku app.
Until Plex - XTeve - IPTV gets reliable, this appears to be the only way I can get my IPTV to work on Roku.
Just discovered this thread and have many questions. I have my server on a qnap and use a Mac as my main computer to do all my web surfing.
- Hosting xTeVe on the Mac or my Qnap?
- Iāve been advised to use a VPN but in the Qnap or the Mac or is it really necessary?
- First step is to join a iptv supplier/host? Name a few please reliable ones please?
- Install xTeVe and add the info from the iptv supplier to get the epg and xml, etc.
- Once I have completed configuring xTeVe to my liking, I go to plex and remove current guide and establish new with the xTeVe I.P. and info to link it up.
- Restart both the Qnap and the Mac (if xTeVe is installed there) just to make sure everything works?
- Did I miss anything?
- Host it on your QNAP. Iād recommend installing a Docker container, they come prebuilt and ready to go. Install Docker, go to Registry, and install xtevedocker2 or similar. Then you just browse to it and configure.

- Its rather straight forward. I would be interested to hear your experience with Plex and having the IPTV channels update consistently.
For QNAP run xTeVe in a docker using container station.
We would recommend either dnsforge/xteve:latest or any of the alturismo docker images. Any of those images will be updated with the latest updates and will also include extra features and are all developed along side @marmei
Not really an xteve for plex question, does anyone know if its possible to fail over to the same channel on a second playlist should the tuners be in use on the first playlist ?
e.g. i have two IPTV providers and many / all of the same channels on both so I wanted to combine these together. Iām currently working with two instances of xteve and have plex pointing at one and other devices at another.
Not with xTeVe. You need something like tvheadend for redundant failover.

This has been working flawlessly for me for a few weeks now one most devices. The one exception, and I cannot figure out why, is the Shield TV Pro (2019). All the same channels play via my iPhone, computer and Roku TV. When playing them via my Shield TV I either get stuttering video with no audio or playback fails entirely. Itās very strange.
Hi, so I know that there are going to be a lot of unknown airing channels, but they arenāt showing up on a fire tv, phone or any other app that isnāt directly hard wired I believe. Is there a way around this? Iām trying to watch these channels, but the only ones that pop up on the fire tv are the ones that have an actual guide.
You need to assign the xteve dummy EPG to these channels to for them to show in Plex if thatās what you mean.
Well idk about your iptv and the epg that goes with it, but one mine it isnāt loading the epg that goes with the channel. Some do like on the more used channels like espn and such, but on the 24/7 channels it doesnāt have an epg
Ok, so Plex doesnāt display a channel if there is no EPG for it, thatās what the dummy EPG does.
Ah okay I gotcha. Sorry im like really new to this, but would I do 120 minutes? Also what does that mean? after 2 hours I have to set it again? Iām talking about the xmltv id
I would do 120 mins. These are just empty program slots so they are no use to you for recording or anything so shorter programs means more programs entries and more memory used.

Also if anyone knows why any TV in my house takes a while to be able to connect to my plex server? Using WiFi itāll say that the server is unavailable for like 10-30 seconds and then itāll connect. This doesnāt happen if the TV or computer is wired though. Also doesnāt happen if you are outside of the house like my friends TV or my phone.
I have some problems with subtitles when it is EIA_608 on my Shield TV and sometimes other types too.
But that is when it i recorded, I hardly see anything direct anymore.
Can any of you install hdhomerun on enigma2?
