Xteve has now quit working on Plex I even went to older versions and still does not work
Xteve is still working for me. I’ve noticed my “Live TV” has moved from under my server to down under the “Plex” at the bottom of the list. Also i had to add HDhomerun, DizqueTV and Xteve as seperate tuners with the HDhomerun first instead of adding them all to xteve then to plex. I’ve tried it both ways with all the tuners in Xteve but plex did not seem to like that at all.
My hd homerun tuners are working just the xteve is not it does not even show that it’s trying to play threw the xteve tunner like it use to I’m at a lost I even got new user and passwords from my iptv provider and still nothing
What version are you using of xTeve? Also is it running on the server itself?
I use the top one and the bottom is an active version. I only tested it quickly but I don’t have issues with my current setup. But these are good options.
Unfortunately, it’s been a while now that xteve hasnt worked. This regardless of the image or version. I’ve tried several other solutions as well, such as threadfin and tellytv, none of them work either.
The error I receive is usually that the stream has ended or its simply some generic error.
When looking at logs from xteve/threadfin, everything looks normal. The stream is started where it’s then sent to Plex. It’s there that it just fails.
Kind of dissapounting. I feel like the live tv end of things has sort of taken a back seat where Plex is concerned. I know I can easily spin up a jellyfin or Emby container and run all the same services I tried with xteve/threadfin, but that’s just irrelevant.
