Is there any way to stream youtube at 1080p to DLNA. I've tried setting all preferences to 1080p/Highest but on my TV (Viera 3D tv) and on my Android phone Youtube is casted at 720p. SInce the new youtube API there are no options for the quality in the _init_.py file.
I've tried several different variants for the USER_AGENT var but without success. Any ideas?
We can't get 1080p from YouTube at the moment. They've removed the compatible 1080p formats and only provide 1080p videos in a format Plex currently can't handle.
They (YT) actually do not have their 1080P videos in a single container. They have the video track and audio track separate. This is one of the reasons causing Plex incompatibility at the moment.
Smells like more sales for their Chromecast dongle ...
