Prior to the last few version updates to Plex on Android TV, I was able to sleep my TV box or let it go to screensaver on a paused playback and when I woke the TV box up again or removed it from screensaver, the paused playback would still be there. Now if I go to screensaver or sleep the box, the playback screen closes.
This is very annoying if I’ve paused something in the last few minutes of the show and walk away to do something quickly and then I come back and the paused screen has closed and Plex went ahead and marked it as watched because the playback exited close to the end of the show. Then I have to open the show again and scrub all the way to the end to find my place.
This is also annoying when watching a playlist and I pause and come back to see it exited the playback and I have to start the playlist again from scratch and then find my place.
YouTube does it properly but recently Plex on Android TV has screwed this up
