I’m pretty new to Plex though I think I have found a bug in scheduling records with a property of LIMIT TO AIRING TIME and a property set with a positive time within MINUTES BEFORE START.
As I set a show up to record which has multiple episodes within the one show, I set the following properties:
RECORD: “All Episodes"
AIRINGS: “New airings only”
MINUTES BEFORE START: “2"
MINUTES AFTER END: “5"
LIMIT TO AIRING TIME: “7:00pm”
I know there is a show on at 7pm however under the show in the RECORDING PRIORITY list, it states “No upcoming airings”.
HOWEVER, the recordings work correctly when I adjust the property of MINUTES BEFORE START within the advanced settings from “2” to “0”.
Speculation: By the looks, the MINUTES BEFORE START when set to any variable changes the shows time and thus is different to the EPG time and the set LIMIT TO AIRING TIME, meaning Plex does not detect a record at the LIMIT TO AIRING TIME.
Please note, this whole issue only occurs when a property is set to LIMIT TO AIRING TIME other than “Any".
Would someone else mind testing this to confirm my suspicion?
