Not sure if this was said already, but if you can install plugins on your Plex Media Server, you can share playlists by installing the WebTools plugin. It’s not as elegant as a native solution and it takes a few steps, but it works perfectly.
- Install the WebTools Plex Plugin (For Windows, install “Windows_Inst_WebTools_1.0.exe”)
- In Plex, click on Plugins (bottom left) and select WebTools and navigate to the internal URL given and login with your regular Plex admin login info
- In WebTools, click on Playlist tab and you can copy your playlist or any of your friend’s playlist to each other (as seen below)
