Yesterday evening or even in the night I have been able to play 3 episodes after eachother without any error.
Now the only thing I did (and don’t get me wrong, because I still love Plex) is installed Emby next to Plex to try to find out if it has the same problems.
Probably there has been a change after that installation, because Plex seems to work fine now.
Also because of the folder structure Emby required for TV series, I’ve moved all the series into their own folder.
Hopefully this gives somewhat of a clue for the Plex developers. Or maybe it’s just a coincident.
Regards.
Aad
Plex also requires TV Shows to be in their own folders. See Naming ‘Series’ & ‘Season’ Based TV Shows Support Article.
I can see a crash at 23:57 on 14 july
Unfortunately the server logs do not go back that far - with oldest being 00:46 am on 15 july.
You had a server restart at Jul 15, 2018 00:27:42 after the crash and capturing the logs then would have got the right time covered
You could disable verbose logging and make sure debug logging is enabled and hopefully the logs will be ok if collected later (not much later)
I have also experience this error, running latest version of PMS also with Windows 10 update today as of now. Get transcoding error appear on iPad Pro, LG TV and Amazon Fire
Just read it now
to be honest. I’d threw everything in one folder called TV-series and it has never been a problem.
I did, and if so I will send you the logs.
Also 1.13.4.5251
Transcoder bombed out on Chrome, and also on Android 4.4.2,
@sa2000 thought we were on a winner, I guess not

Logfile to help, i hope
Not sure why you are posting here. This thread was created as a new topic solely for the server crashes and not for the transcoder errors - which in your case are the same as what is in this thread SOLUTION: Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error - #68 which you have already posted in. Please attach your logs in the other forum thread
Oke, Just watch two episodes. The first one didn’t give any problems. The second one stops nearly at the end.
But the server is still online. Here are my logs.
played 2 hours without problems after Windows update KB4345421.
