It looks like guide download issue is fixed via the latest update. However, the “On right now” under the “recommended” section is broken. It rarely populates, and when it does, the times for the shows are off by about 4 hours. The time is set correctly on the server and on all other devices. So shows that are live now, do not show up. The guide populates correctly, so it’s odd. Is it a task scheduling issue, to refresh that section?
This is crucial for TV apps that do not have a guide option. Right now, there is ZERO way for me to utilize live TV from the Plex app on my Samsung TV. Why is it so hard to implement a guide on the TV apps? Memory? Storage space? Even if limited results or if it pulled from the plex server not the web? Or what if, at a very minimal level there was a channel selector. So that regardless of “what’s on” you can just tune a channel. I feel like this is a basic element to have in a system like this.
Please help. I would have to really dig - but I think that this started to be broken about 3-4 updates ago. I’m sorry i don’t have the version. Where can i find older versions to test?
