I had this same problem with the web interface. Turned out the trick was to reload the webpage. I normally keep Plex up in a pinned tab and don’t often close my browser, so if you do something similar, that might work for you.
I have the same error on 100% of my movies after the last server update. Is there a patch? or how do I roll back to a working version? This really is not acceptable.
Having the same issue at Gurchiek. This issue occurs for all media for the Plex app on my Windows 10 pc. Tried restarting and installing today’s update, but the error persists.
I do not encounter this issue when streaming through any of my Roku devices.
