1.25.2.5319 Deadlocking Unresponsive

I am encountering an issue with Plex Media Server where the server web client becomes unresponsive to HTTP requests.

If it kill and restart the Plex Media Server.exe web services resume.

I have collected Diagnostics for a deadlock / locking (Windows) which includes

  1. Response from /connections
  2. Process dump Plex Media Server.exe
  3. Another response from /connections for comparison
  4. Plex log zip file (with Debug logging level enabled)

I am looking for someone at Plex who I am can private message to have a look?

I have disabled Push Notifications and Webhooks and it appears to have resolved the problem.

Was this by unticking “Webhooks” in Settings / Server / Network with Show Advanced selected?

Any other setting ?

Settings / Server / General, Uncheck “Push Notifications”

and

Settings / Server / Network (with Show Advance), Uncheck “Webhooks”

I went from it going down every few hours / minutes to zero issues after making these changes.

I was even able to re-enable the following features without issue.

  • Generate video preview thumbnails
  • Generate chapter thumbnails
  • Analyze audio tracks for loudness
  • Include season premieres in Continue Watching
  • Weeks to consider for Continue Watching = 16
  • Maximum number of Continue Watching items which will appear = 40
  • Seasonal Movies

Having the same issues here. Logs attached. Have just disabled webhooks so will give it 24hrs (by which time it has usually locked up) and see if disabling Webhooks fixes it.

I also disabled Push Notifications as well.

Yeah, have already got that disabled.
