1 Server Remote access fine, the other does not

I have 2 distinct Plex Servers (Windows 10 builds) running out of my house, both are listed as “Up to date”, even though they show different build, but not point of this post.
Server #1 Version#: 1.18.5.2260
Server #2 Version#: 1.18.4.2171

Both servers were remote accessing perfectly fine up until yesterday, now Server #2 stays fully accessible while Server #1 says “Not available outside your network”; though testing it out on my phone using cell network allows for an indirect connection and transcodes to SD.

Server #1 had some hardware upgrades; Yesterday I upgraded the motherboard and CPU, but otherwise nothing (to my knowledge) has changed.

The other interesting part, is when trying to troubleshoot it, I would “disable” remote access and then try to reconnect it, would go green and display that it is fully connected for about 2 seconds before the dropping back red saying “not available outside your network”.

On Server #1, the Remote Access page show the diagram with a green arrow between public IP to Private IP, but a red “X” between Internet and Public IP.

Any directions of things to try would be appreciated, and if any additional information is needed, please let me know.

Have you checked your router settings after doing the hardware update on Server #1? I suppose you had a static IP address assigned to the machine that might have been lost (e.g. if you’re using a network port on the mainboard which will have a different MAC address). Re-establishing that IP reservation for server #1 could already help fixing the indirect/relayed connection.

PS:
different builds for your 2 servers are most likely because you’re using different update channels on the 2 servers (public vs. beta) – check out Settings > Server > General > Server update channel

Thanks Tom, so if I’m reading your post correctly, i have verified that the Private IP address does in fact match the assigned Private IP address, and the Public IP address (which is a static IP as well), does also match. I will verify about the MAC address, that is a great point since the “point of contact” is the hardware that was replaced and may be causing the internal hardware confusion. Thanks for the suggestion, will get back to let you know how it went.
