I recently noticed that the option to transcode to the “1080p high” (also known as 1080p 20 mbit) is no longer offered to my clients. Neither remotely, nor locally. Independent from client architecture and version (tried web, chromecast, GoogleTV, AndroidTV).
My remote access settings are wide open (no limits set), and as I said, it’s also not offered locally.
The highest option I get is 1080p at 12 mbit/s. No matter what source (tried everything from 1080p Bluray rips to 4K content).
Do you have any idea what could be wrong here? This worked fine just a couple of PMS server versions ago.
Currently running PMS 1.24.0.4930 (on QNAP Intel), but it was the same with at least 4-5 previous versions.
