when will the 1900 timeline error be corrected?
many photos are listed despite the correct date in the timeline on 1900

How many photos did you give PMS to process?
I just added 10,000 (as I setup the library).
They all displayed on the timeline as 1900 (no date information available) until PMS was done scanning them.
As each completed, it moved to the proper date/time zone.
When all were processed, there were no photos showing without date in the infamous ‘1900’ zone.
I gave around 11,000
Even when it finished, I ran the Analyze option, but still have 50% of them in the 1900 zone.
There is a problem, Chuck.
Help me figure out the characteristics of this please?
I gave it 10,000 iPhone pics & screenshots. I know all have EXIF data embedded.
Might this be what’s missing?
Also, I did the photo library on an i7. It did take a bit (20 minutes)
I had double check, the photos have the correct EXIF data.
I think the timeline application get some problems in some point (update), I have had PMS for several years and now is showing this problems.

I don’t know. Your colleague @drzoidberg33 acknowledged the flaw and supplied a fix, more details in the thread I have linked.
Fair enough. If he’s got it then I will step back.
I work in Customer Support; he works in Engineering.
If he has it already then great.

If there’s any news, I won’t know until Engineering gives us the list of changes & corrections for the upcoming release so we can test it.
To add, Plex engineering is on a 6 week development cycle. Unless there is an extreme situation requiring immediate correction, I would not expect to see issues fixed until that next release (dependent on priorities and resource availability )

really annoying 
I got a few with the 1900 time too. Right spot in the timeline, just wrong date title. Of course there are some photos that got listed under the wrong date as well. I have photos from Oct under a Aug 12th time section in the timeline.
On my server I don’t have the 1900 showing up I just have a bunch of photos put at April 2017 even though they have various different dates actually connected with them.

I am experiencing the same bug: loads of photos showing up under May 27, 2017. This while they were taken at different dares. So the 2019 seems to have solved, but now we have a 2017 bug.
any news?
