Every time I start a new movie lately, the play back position starts at 2 1/2 minutes.
I keep on missing the intro of the Movie.
How to get this to start play back at the beginning of the Movie?
Are any trailers played before your movie starts?
I have the same issue, and it only happens before a trailer is played. (so if the trailer was 01:56 minutes, the movie would start at 01:56 minutes (from the beginning)).
If I play the movie without trailers, its starts at the beginning. (00:00)
interesting find, I do have trailers at the start. I will disable and check it out.
I changed the setting on plex web in my local network but still have the option enabled with 1 trailer on the Plex through the shield. The movie now starts at the beginning with one trailer.
Seems to be a bug somewhere if you enable it through Plex Web and Nvidia Shield.
I just came looking for a resolution to this very problem. I noticed that the movie would start where the trailer ends.
@Deaerator when you say you the setting on your plex web in local network. Can you be a little more specific as to which option you you changed? do you mean that you went under the WEB > Player > Trailers and set it to 0 ? and left trailers turn on in the shield ?

Hi guys. To be clear, this was an issue we found with a Beta version of the client app, nothing to do with the server. This should also have been fixed in the latest Beta update, so please update if you haven’t already and let us know if you still see this problem.
I have the same issue on the NVIDIA SHIELD latest android version 7.0.0
