Hi,
I have tried looking at the naming guide, but cant see mention of this so wondering if its possible, or if there is a way around it (ideally without using Season and Episode)
I have daily recording that use the date, most of the time this works perfect
However, once a week 2 episodes are shown on the same day
Emmerdale - 2016-06-23 - First Ep.ts
Emmerdale - 2016-06-23 - Second Ep.ts
Ideally i would like to not have to look up the Season/Episode just for this days episodes, is there anyway i can get these identified as 2 separate shows, instead of being put as 1 combined episode
Today’s Beta Release 1.11.3.4793 has changes to address multiple episodes on the same day and will hopefully resolve most of the cases. (I say this reservedly because the information available for multiple episodes may not actually have identifiable differences.)
I currently dont have a Plex Pass (waiting till i get a compatible tuner), then going to subscribe
Would this change affect library files, currently i record externally and have them named as in first post, then point Plex at this folder, or is this only with the DVR feature

(DVR) More fixes around recording multiple airings of a show on the same day (#6668)
This fixes the problem where only one episode was recorded.
There remains an issue with episode identification in the library and that is because of the lack of the detail in the Gracenote data. The airing time is used in this fix to label the episodes differently.
Thanks to @“Kings Media” for the additional user testing for this fix
