2 different Plex player versions installed normal?

Server Version#: 1.27.1.5891-c29537f86
Player Version#: 4.76.1 and 4.83.2

Can anyone tell me if it is normal for 2 different versions of plex player is normal? Using app.plex.tv which is what i use by default is 4.83.2, however using my local ip:port to access my server shows another 4.76.1, which definitely looks different, as well as settings are different for the same user account too.

I was thinking the older one is there in case you need to revert back? Does changing settings from both cause any conflict if happens by mistake?

yes it is normal

the local one at Ip:23400 is built into server

the one at app.plex.tv is hosted online and we can update it more quickly and try things out

the one with server is not updated as frequently as it is more important that it work since it will be the only one avail if you lose internet for example
