Not sure I understand what you’re aiming for.
You can have multiple Plex Media Servers using the Syno shares as their storage (e.g. pointing libraries to the network shares).
I suppose you can install multiple instances of PMS on a Syno itself using Docker (maybe in addition to a native PMS installation). Then again… why would you want to do that?
My partner and I would like to have complete isolation of our media libraries.
When Plex is installed, one user is only created “PlexMediaUser” as an internal system user. This user is then granted read/write permissions to any folder to be accessed by Plex; thus, the Plex admin user will have complete access to all folders given by the PlexMdediaUser.
You could create 2 regular or managed users for yourself and your partner and share only the applicable libraries.
If you’re running 2 independent servers, each will require its own capacity (memory, CPU)… which is limited on a NAS.
