Since the latest update Plex Media Server won’t cast to Chromecast anymore. Says “Media not available”. Playing locally works fine. Have tried resetting everything and logging in and out.
Also Remote Access isn’t working anymore. I tried googling the issue and doing what a couple threads said to do (setup static IP, didn’t work, and manually port forwarding also didn’t work). I have a Hitron CGN3 modem on the Rogers network in Toronto, Canada.

It started with my Roku telling me the server wasn’t available (local network). When I went to the server and logged in to investigate, I noticed remote access was no longer available (this had worked for years before the latest update). Funny thing is, if I hit retry for remote access, it comes up as connected, and my Roku works again. It appears the two issues are somehow related.
After fixing it as above the first day, it has happened every evening since ever since the update. Roku doesn’t work, hit retry on remote access, everything connects again and works as intended.
While this quick fix is fine when I’m at home, if I want to access my library from away as I often do, I will be unable to with remote access consistently dropping off and no direct access to the server to reset.
