2 minor Android TV Client gripes

  1. When moving through items on the discover tab, when the trailer auto starts in the background a half second of audio blares through the speakers. If the volume is up that makes for a jarring sound.

  2. For the small group of us loyal preroll enthusiasts, if you start a movie expecting a preroll to come up first sometimes the movie will play for a good 5 seconds or more and then suddenly stop and load the preroll. Then go back to the beginning of the movie again when done. Again not a great or smooth experience.

FYI the Roku player handles both of these situations perfectly.

  2. I could not reproduce this. Which device are you using and what version is the Plex app on it.

i’ve been able to reproduce #1 but can’t reproduce #2. not sure if if it because I don’t have that particular model Shield but will keep trying. Is it possible to get your android tv logs after #2 happens.
