Android TV beta app: Prerolls delayed on starting a movie

I’m running the Android TV beta client on an NVIDIA Shield Pro 2019 streamer. For a long time now any time I start a movie the movie will play for as much as 10 seconds and then abruptly switch to play the preroll file, then go back to the beginning of the movie and continue from there

In the grand scheme of things not a huge deal obviously but still it is pretty annoying. Attached the Android TV player log to see if someone can take a look.

Just wanted to note I have the same behavior on the Android mobile beta client as well.

The movie starts, only the movie is in the play queue and then after a few seconds the preroll is added to the front of the queue and starts playing.
