I’ve seen a thread from earlier this year where this was occuring but I am still getting crashes when playing FLAC files on the Shield app.
No problems with video but every few plays the interface will become unresponsive and recovered once but typically dumps back to the shield home screen.
I thought it was an issue with the files but they play fine when i go back to them until another one crashes the app.
Is anyone else still having FLAC playback issues on shield?
Does this happen more often when playing an album
or more often when playing a mixed playlist?
Do you have high-resolution audio files in your library?
Or files with more than stereo channels?
In the settings of the plex app, what is activated under Music & Podcasts?
Do you have “loudness levelling” and/or “Sweet Fades” enabled?
How much free space do you have in the internal storage of the Shield?
