I have a Mojave VM… give me a minute. I’ll see if I can do what I need and give you the instructions.
cd to the directory (path) containing the movie file.dd if=put_file_name_here.mkv of=sample-for-chuck.mkv bs=1048576 count=20That will create a 20 MB file sample MKV for me to use.
The next trick is, if you have google drive or a cloud location, to upload it so I may download it.

That said your TV should not be hooked to ethernet, all TV’s have crappy 10/100 ports.
