Is it possible to add a another Plex Pass user to My Home and allow them to use Camera Upload so as to upload photos to my PMS?
They don’t need to be in your home ( or even have a Plex Pass ) just allow camera upload in the restriction settings and share a photo library with them which they can select to upload to. ( they cannot create a library on your server )
it is not really a good idea for someone who has a already has plex pass to accept an invite into anothers Home. since you will pretty much have admin access over their account. Just share with them regularly
If I add a user either in My Home or invite a Friend, neither can upload photos user Camera Upload even though I have enabled that options. The app complains about another users is already user this function.
What am I missing.
Only one user of a any given device can use camera upload. Which type of device are you using? Android, iOS or Windows?
If there is a bug I want to try to reproduce it and report to development team
I have all three and all three respond the same way. We this may resolved and I am not sure what has changed but I completely removed all the users from My Home and re-added them. Now Camera Upload is working.
However I have noticed in the past couple of days that when I log into my PMS via a web browser ther seem to be a hiccup when locating my content. In other words I can log and I can see a general Plex environment, by nothing is there, as if it was freshly installed and my avatar in the upper right hand corner does not represent the first letter of my first name.
I will try and reproduce it and take a screen shoot.
