On mobile 3.0.60 works stable.
On desktop it seems to be the same, but there must be a strange bug. I used the app permanent for hours without a problem, but if I stop using it and just minimize the app into taskbar the app just dissapears mostly but not every time. This happens after about a minute and the Taskmanager says that it’s closed. But if you start the app again it doesn’t need to connect to server or load the libraries, because they are still there.
If I was on Home when this happens and after reopen the app it doesn’t load the pictures for the entries on Home, but only on Home.

Maybe it’s just coincidence, but could it be related with the user selection that now appears after every minimize? -
Mobile has a new bug, if the song switch when Plex is in background and you reenter the app, the music player will now be opend but the layout stuck and only the blue dots moving.

When you go back to libraries and open the music player over “Now Playing” the layout works again. -
After 3.0.51, where the loading time of the libraries after the user selection was super fast, I now have the feeling that it needs more and more time with every new version. And it also starts to varies, sometimes it needs 15 seconds for loading and the next time it needs 30 seconds. It would be great if you could change this back again.
A few things:
- Regarding the fact that user selection appears every time you minimize, a bit of context: we lock the current account for security every time the app is suspended and resumed by the OS, for security. When you minimize the app, apparently Windows 10 suspends the app. If you feel this feature should work differently, I’m interesting in knowing your view point.
- When you have a long load time, could you please PM me the logs of that session? Maybe there is something there that explains what happens.
- It’s not easy to find out what changed between 3.0.51 and 3.0.59, but if you’re interested, I could set up a private update channel for you and republish the old builds in succession, so that you can test and tell me in which release it started to get slow.

Your right with the security aspect, I always forget this point of view. I was just irritated that it gets locked after just a second of checking incoming email. And with auto sign in you’ve already have the solution for both types of user.
But that Windows 10 on desktop suspends and sometimes “close” the Plex app from taskbar if it’s minimized is something new in 3.0.60 and should not happen I think.- When you have a long load time, could you please PM me the logs of that session? On the way.- It’s not easy to find out what changed between 3.0.51 and 3.0.59, but if you’re interested, I could set up a private update channel for you and republish the old builds in succession, so that you can test and tell me in which release it started to get slow.
If it’s helps, sure I’ll test.
I have the same problem as Martin.S described. If I minimize the app, the app will be closed. Also on mobile: If I go back to the home screen, the app disappears.
@blueJack92: Is there anything in the logs?
