What is the status of 3D MKV support with full HD blu ray rips with MakeMKV (MVC format)?
There are more and more Windows players that support full quality 3D playback (with LAV filters + madVR renderer) - Kodi, JRiver, however OpenPHT gives me only incompatible stereoscopic 3D modes (over/under, SBS and anaglyph).
I second that! I can play “low quality” Bluray rips made with DVDFab (SBS or OU) no problem, but when I use MakeMKV on an ISO file, all bets are off.
Any idea what the Plex Player future holds?
Yes, please add mvc mkv support. I finally got the courage to venture into the 3D world, bought a big 3D TV and now I can’t watch my Bluray rips in 3D via Plex. Disappointing, but it seems that several players out there can do it. No luck here with remuxing to m2ts, even doing it with a Samsung’s Plex app was a no-go.
Would really like MKV MVC 3D support - and the ability to invoke 3D playback within Plex Media Player based on a single .mkv file. Having two separate .mkv files for both the 2D and 3D versions is a real waste of HDD space! Once this functionality is available I will finally be able to get rid of my clunky Mede8er!
Agreed. Then Plex would be the best solution available for Home Cinemas with 3D projectors. I would pay for that in a heartbeat. I could then ditch PowerDVD once and for all.

+1 3D MVC support in Plex Media Player for Windows and MacOSX would be great
you two should be asking in the PMP forum, this is the openpht forum!
