because the download of the EPG does not start when you enter only 4 digits, there is no way to get DVR working.
The problem has been identified and a fix is being produced and will be included in a future version of Plex Media Server
The fix for Switzerland has now been released in beta version 1.13.3.5208
See Release Note Plex Media Server - #222 by drzoidberg33
- (DVR) Check for the correct postal code format for Switzerland (#8646)
Sorry but no. It’s still not working. I just installed the beta, restarted everything, logged out and in. As long as I don’t type in 5 digits the search does not start and the «continue» button is disabled.
I have just tried it through simulator and used the example post code of 3436 and it worked
could you double check the version of the server that is running - go to settings / server / general in plex web
and if it is 1.13.3.5208 please get me logs and screenshots
Enable debug logging - see https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/
Restart the server
Delete the DVR
Go through setup
Take a screenshot of the issue
Then capture the logs
See https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/
and attach
does not work for me either, logs and screenshot attached.

Still not working with 4 Digits postal codes Regards from Switzerland
Sorry about that. Our tests using the simulator were successful. The issue is being looked into
1 month for this non-fix … great. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work here either.
Yes, I agree, it really doesnˋt work with 4 digits in Switzerland… Very disapointing…
Sorry for this. Problem understood. Discussing with the development team
Sorry for the earlier glitch. The fix is definitely in the hotfix beta release that is available now - version 1.13.3.5223
Now it works . Thank you.
