Intro - Posting in the Plex Synology Forum.
When making a post in this forum, please provide as much information about your issue as possible and include the following details:
- NAS Model you have (e.g. DS1815+)
- DSM Version installed
- PMS version
- When creating the thread, affix the “server-synology” tag so we are notified of it and can find it easier.
Also include as much as possible of:
- Logfiles ZIP’d from your Synology
- The log files, downloaded from Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs if you can access it
-or- - Manually ZIP’d “Logs” directory directly from the Plex share (if PMS won’t start)
- Description of what you see beyond “it doesn’t work” please. The more you can describe, and steps you’ve taken to date, the quicker we can get it working again
