4digit episodes not showing

Hello,
I am using following structure:
Plex root
… TV shows
… … show name
… … … Season XX
… … … … Y.mkv

where Y is episode number with zero prefix according to total number of episodes of that season (e.g: 0 - 100 → 01, 02, … or 100 - 1000 → 001, 002, …, etc…) .

May I ask, why Plex have no problems finding episodes
01.mkv, 02.mkv etc…
and
001.mkv, 002.mkv etc…
but it won’t find episodes
0001.mkv, 0002.mkv etc…

Try naming the episodes SxxEyyyy.mkv. Even if they are all S01, it may help with recognition.

The Plex-recommended naming is most reliable. Many alternative naming schemes have limitations.

If that doesn’t help, please share the name of your show and some of the full directory/filenames.

Yeah… I thought about it… But I really don’t see myself renaming over 10k episodes (so all match same naming scheme…)

There’s apps that can help you do that.
Plex will not recognize those files properly… that’s just a matter of fact.
