im using the plex media server on my mac and windows and i direct play my movies on my samsung tv through the plex app. when i direct play 1080p movies, i have no issues.
when i play my 4k movies i suffer from buffering. the strange thing is that the movie buffers for few seconds at the beginning and keeps on playing. after few minutes it buffers again and it completely stops playing.
every time i replay the movie it buffers at the exact second. I switched between the mac and windows to play the movie and it keeps on buffering on the exact same minute of the movie.
i use Ethernet connecting and i dont stream through the internet so everything is locally.
i checked if the movie is transcoding but when i open the option window in the app i see that it play the original file
is there any thoughts about fixing this ?
