4K HEVC Main 10 Steaming issues

When trying to stream any 4K HEVC Main 10 in Safari Web browser on MacBook Pro M1pro I get audio but just a black screen. My server is running on a HP Gen 6 HP mini desktop running Windows 11. I have tried the new HEVC encoding settings but they do not help. It was converting down to 720p but still a black screen with just audio.

All my 4K files play fine on my iOs devices, iPad Pro M2 and iPhone 14 Pro. I tried the desktop app on this same MacBook Pro M1 Pro but I get a playback error on any file.

Any ideas out there?

Does it do the same thing with the Plex for Mac client instead of Safari? That’s what I would try. Either that or the HTPC Client.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I just tried the app for Mac on a different computer and it worked! so the playback error I was getting is related to something else. I will use the app on that machine and stop with Safari all together.
