5.1 AC3 audio only outputs to my front speakers in my home theater on Xbox One S in Plex app

So, I have a home theater with a projector and Onkyo tx-sr 505 receiver. I have my Plex Media Player and Media Server running on my Windows 10 laptop, which is running perfectly. I have my Xbox One S connected to my receiver via HDMI (my receiver only outputs the video display and not audio when using HDMI) and an Optical Audio cable (for Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound) all connected to my Xbox and receiver. The problem is that whenever I try to play First Man (2018) which is encoded in mp4 format and has 5.1 AC3 audio in English, and whenever I play it on the Plex app for Xbox One S, I only get my front 2 speakers in my 5.1 surround sound setup to put out audio and not my rear back speakers and the middle surround speakers. How can I get Plex on Xbox One S to output the 5.1 audio to my other surround speakers in my home theater. The receiver is setup correctly and so are the speakers. I have never had this problem before. When I was watching the movie in my home theater a few weeks ago, I got PERFECT surround sound out of ALL of my speakers. Please help me. Thank you.

I just commented on this in another post. It seems as though there is no ability at present to select the correct audio track in the mp4 format. It defaults to the aac stereo track, which is great for compatibility on a range of devices but pretty useless for those of us who have a decent audio / home theater setup and can’t access that crucial 5.1 audio on the second track through the xbox app.

This need to be rectified asap imo.
