5.1 Albums in Music Library stopped playing surround on AppleTV

I have many 5.1 albums in FLAC format stored in a plex music library. At some point, they stopped playing surround and will only play 2-channel from my AppleTV. I can’t find any settings to check or change this via web settings or AppleTV for the music library.

Me too. I’ve pretty much given up hope that this will ever be resolved but I’d love to be proven wrong!

Has this been reported somewhere else as a bug? I’d be happy to add my voice there and close this thread. With Plex having audio enthusiasts in their customer base, I can’t imagine this wouldn’t be addressed. It’s one of my primary use cases.
