In the log i can see that It’s reporting to PMS that DoVi Profile 5 is not supported, which is wrong.
“Cannot direct play with protocol: http, codec: hevc. Reason: Dolby Vision Profile 5 is not supported
Cannot direct stream with protocol: hls, codec: hevc. Reason: Dolby Vision Profile 5 is not supported”
It was working fine on previous version 5.42.1.
Agreed. Same version of the Plex app on LG WebOS and Server.
TV is running 03.33.11, the latest OS, which was released before this issue started occurring.
DoVi files that were playing back directly last week (triggering DoVi on the TV and looking lovely) are now failing to play back with the warning mentioned above.
@markus101 could you please take a look and fix this issue.

Player Version: only on 5.43.1
LG C1 used to support Dolby Vision profile 5 in mp4 containers, but now it tries to transcode and fails.
dovi profile 8 files in mp4 container still play like before.

I am having the exact same issue. All my profile 5 files stopped direct playing and are triggering encoding and failing to get the correct colors anyway. I don’t have any profile 8 files to test.
I tried multiple versions of PMS on multiple platforms with the same issue.

LG OLED E7…. I’ve been building a Vision/Atmos library for a year. Now none of my DV files will play and I get the playback error for color space not supported.
I was playing “For All Mankind” DV files on Monday flawlessly, and on Tuesday everything stopped; Now every DV file I have is unplayable… 
I am having the same problem.

EXACT same issue… same TV model… and was even watching the same show! (I love it so far!) As you said, it played fine on Monday and stopped on Tuesday.
