7.24.0.13247-beta can't play any music

Got the latest Android beta { 7.24.0.13247} loaded on Pixel 2XL running Android 10. I click play on any album (Mp3 or FLAC) and the circle spins for minutes. Then I get an error Playback failed Transcoder couldn’t start. I have quality set to original so the Transcoder shouldn’t even be a factor

Ditto, same problem. No issues playing with 7.23. Pixel 3, latest PMS public release.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems with the app. In order to investigate the issue, is there any chance you could share app logs? You can do that following https://support.plex.tv/articles/201573117-android-android-tv-fire-tv-logs/.

Updated original post to include my logs. Glad to hear a fix is being worked on.

Latest beta allows me to play music again. Still have the -1 bitrate issue when playing on mobile data with original quality selected
