Plex WAS really good. Fast, no buffering on my in home network. But it seems since the last two updates, it’s gotten so freakin slow.
On my PS4, it’s a little slow loading but seems to do a bit better. But that system is downstairs and not what I frequently use. I’d like it to return to it’s former glory. I don’t know what you all changed, but something is definately wrong with loading lately.
I have adjusted transcoding to try to help it go faster. My files are MP4’s. The drive holding the files is internal. I don’t think it’s a failure on my part. I do think you changed something in recent “updates” that drastically changed the way it operates.
I realize you’re all busy, but check into this please. 
You want to avoid transcoding if possible. Check your settings and set everything to play original or maximum settings so it shows playing as Direct Play or Direct Stream in your dashboard.
