9.9.20 Locks up on web content

Trying to play web content (from channels) or any cloud synced data (my own or shared) or any content from libraries shared with me immediately lock up and have weird black/white pattern on the screen.

I must then hard boot the Pi (pull the power) to get it responsive again.

 

 

All of this content plays just fine on my mobile with the Plex app.

Confirmed I can play cloud synced and some channel videos to my chromecast.    Shared library content fails, but not with the black/white lockup I am seeing with the Pi.

Please fill in a detailed procedure to reproduce this issue on GitHub, then we can take a look at it :)

This appears to be resolved in 0.4.0 rc1

Hmmm got this problem on the RasPlex 0.4.0-rc3 ...  Only on Cloud Sync content

It came back in rc3 for cloud and local content.

My 'workaround' has been to use Plex on my Roku Stick while I wait for rc4/ga release and hope its resolved there.

I suppose rolling back would work too, but I am being lazy and already my workaround.

There is an open bug out on github and I see you posted up there as well.

Hope it gets resolved, the Roku is ok for Amazon and the Roku Channels, but I love the RasPlex interface and miss it.

Yes totally agree with you. 

Seems to be in the last beta of PHT as well
