96/24 playback with Plexamp

Dears,
I use Plexamp 3.8.0 for Android on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra to play 96kHz 24bits FLAC files.

I started a discussion months ago as at that time I found Plexamp was not able to really deliver 96/24 (my old DAC had a led showing sample rate), and @elan explained that to avoid compatibility issues Plexamp was always requesting a 48kHz playback.

Now, a long time had passed, I abandoned my old type-C DAC and I started to use Sony WH-1000XM4 phones: these phones and the Galaxy S20 support LDAC codec up to 96/24.
By the way, they don’t show the sample rate, so my question is how to check it’s really delivering 96/24.

Attached logs have been saved playing a 96/24 FLAC file, but reading them I could find no information about sample rate.

Similar problems, all muisc stuck on 48kHz playback.

Come on @elan , an audiophile player not capable to play bit-perfect 96/24 is not really an audiophile player.
Could you build a version always requesting 96/24 to DAC?
It could be a good start waiting for a complete hi-res support.

i think an audiophile player not capable to play bit-perfect is not really an audiophile player.
